it was dark. The first night of the moonless sky. she could see nothing only feeling of the ground below and the brush in front of her.  ' tonight i rest. tomorrow i see what my body did to adapt.'she breathed. as her body was about to welcome sleep she heard foot steps. then someone talking. unable to hear to make out the voices. she creeped closer. getting only yards away she couls see a small fire. two people sat there with what looked like a small dog (or was it a child). there was a young and a man talking. now that she was closer and her eyed had ajusted to the lightseh could heat what they were saying. '' inuyasha , how long do you think it will  be untill Songo and Miroku  return?''the young women asked, '' Keh, how should i know? Besides they  can take care of themselves.''the man replied.
behind the bush she could see that trhe only one of them wearing clothes she reconized was the young women.
wearing a skirt woth a white blouse. ' unusal dress for traveling.' she thought. the man worw a red kimonoand was huging a swoed tight aginst his chest.
          unlike the women he was leaning aginst the tree jist out of the light of the fire so she couldent seehis face.  Trying to get a better look at him she squinted into the darkness only to see that eyes were closed as if he were sleeping.
the small child like dog thingrolled over and was waking up. " hey kagome is Sango and Miroku back yet?"
"No not yet Shippo."
she began to shiffle sighlently back int to the bushes when..... snap! a branch broke under the wieght of her hand. she froze in horror of being caught. the women jumped along with the dog kid and the man sat fowardon to the light.
''what was that?'' the dog kid asked frightened.
" i dont know, but i'd better go check it out." the man said.
       'Thats what you think buster.'' she thought as she got out of the brush and ran into a tree and climbed into one of the highest branches off the ground.

"hm its nothing, relax  Shippo." Inuyasha said coming back to sit by the tree. Kagome reached over and pulled out a sucker and handed it to Shippo to quiet him down. "did you see what made the sound?" Kagome asked. "no just a broken branch. it was most likely just an animal." Inuyasha relaxed back up aginst the tree and closed his eyes. "in the morning, i think you should go see what it was. i sensed something a moment before we heard it." Inuyasha humphed before asking. "was it a sacered jewel."  Kagome shook her head. "it didn't feel like one. it just felt off, not right."
"its none of out concern then. we will continue on like before."

Shippo was the first awake and was standing at the bush were the sound came from the night before. he had found the branch that had broken in half along with shuffle marks along the ground. 'Inuyasha is so stupid sometimes.' he thought as he followed the marks that lead up to a good size tree. looking up he saw a girl not much older than Kagome. she was wearing leather pants with and a unusualy long shirt. her shoes looked like Kagomes but they went all the way to her knee and the buckled on the side. Shippo could only muster a barley audible whisper of astonishment. her hair was a bright blonde that looked alomost white with a tinge of gold laced in. it was beyound long, pulled back into a pony tail with loose piecis falling about her face, it came down around her and fell off the branch she was slouching in.
Shippo ran back to the camp. when he got there he woked up the first person he ran into. "Kogome wake up, i want to show you something." he whispered harshly.
Kogome sat up rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "what is it Shippo?" she was aswered with a sharp shhhing sound. Shippo ran back over to the tree where the young women sleep unaware of admirer down below. Kogome walked over tiredly and stood next to Shippo as he smiled and pointed up in dicating that what he wanted her to see was in the tree. as they both looked back up into the tree the girl began to move and stand up. awake now the girl met Kogome's gaze with a ice blue stare. after a moment the women paniked slightly causing her balance to falter. she fell from the tree hitting a couple of bracheson the way down but gracfuly landing on her feet. as soon as she hit the ground she took off in the direction of their camp at a dead run.

Inuyasha woke up to the sound of cracking branches and the sound of foot steps moving at a dead run. he groaned as he stood up and started in the direction of the anoying sound that had rudely woken him. his stide was interupted by a steak of brown ran into him forcefully knocking him over. he reached for his injured head as he caught site of the cold ice blue  gaze. he could no longer take a breath or think it was as if his lungs had seized up and no longer willing to work. a couple of secounds later she blinked and Inuyasha could began to breath much less move. "sorry." she whispered as she stood up and continued her run in the direction she had chosen before.

"Inuyasha are you ok?" Kogome asked in concern. Inuyasha looked up from where he landed on the ground. "yeah but she better watch whats she doing from now on. she runs into the wrong person she's going to get hurt."
"we better go find her." Shippo stated calmly. "no we have to get to the village and meet Miroku and Songo like we would." Inuyasha said.
"Shippo's right. we need to see if she is ok. she kind of fell out of the tree." Inuyasha rolled his eyes. "keh, whatever. lets get going so we can get to the village and see about this girl in one day
